PNWA Linked with Presidential Award-Winning Seattle University Program
Pacific Northwest Advisors for some years has had a strategic partnership with Seattle University, whose EDGE (Education for Global Executives) program allows talented young MBA graduate students to apply their international business expertise to practical, real-world business situations. The EDGE program of Seattle University’s Albers School of of Business and Economics was honored at the White House in May by President Bush and Secretary of Commerce Gutierrez. EDGE received the President's “E” Award as one of 19 leading U.S. organizations and companies for its leadership in promoting international business.
One of Pacific Northwest Advisors’ most distinguished members is Dr. Jerry Ralston, who, in his role as Advisor to Seattle University’s Dean for Global Business, initiated the EDGE program at the University and worked for a number of years to bring outstanding young international business school students to PNWA projects and clients, some as PNWA Associate Advisors. PNWA’s ongoing association with this remarkable, nationally recognized program offers yet another dimension of quality, cost-effective business services to our clients around the world.

New Links Between the Pacific Northwest and the Gulf
Cooperation Council.
It's a long way from the Pacific Northwest and the Middle East/Gulf
region. But in this increasingly interconnected world, PNWA
is moving ahead to develop business, cultural and personal ties
between these two distant areas. The key to this process is
PNWA Senior Advisor David Woodward, born in Iran, with lifelong
personal and professional ties to the region. New initiatives
in the interrelated fields of student exchange, investment opportunity,
expanding trade possibilities, and substantial resource commitments
by the countries of the region show great promise. PNWA plans
to take a leading role in promoting business ties between the
Northwest and the GCC in the coming years. With a trade and
study mission in the works, and growing interest on both sides,
we are convinced that new links and opportunities will grow
exponentially. For more information, or for a copy of David
Woodward's full report, please contact PNWA.
