Practice:
Richard Brinton has over 30 years experience in international business
development in Europe, the Americas and Asia, and has worked for
a number of capital goods companies. He has focused his career on
the worldwide introduction of new technologies and has gained wide
experience in industrial processes, machine tools, robotics, and
construction. He has served in positions of Applications Engineering,
Regional Service Management, Product Development, Marketing, Sales,
and General Management. Richard worked for AccuRay/ABB for over
16 years, of which two years were based in Europe. Then he joined
Flow Systems to initiate their Asian and Latin American sales efforts.
Later, he managed all of their sales and marketing in the Americas
and Asia. At UTILX (FlowMole) Corporation, he complete two acquisitions
and became Chairman of their Japanese Joint Venture, which he negotiated.
He also established their Asian and Latin American sales activities
and managed their European subsidiary. He was as Director of Worldwide
Sales and Marketing for Lamb Grays Harbor Company. He is President
of BBD International, an export management company, which acts as
the contract sales arm for US based light construction equipment
companies. Most recently, he became a Founder of Novinium, Inc.
and serves as their Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Richard Brinton
has been actively involved in helping North American companies
develop overseas distribution channels. His clients range from
construction equipment manufacturers to software companies.
