Wolfgang Graebner, Ph.D.

Professional Practice:
Dr. Graebner was a Managing Partner/Member of the Vorstand of BHF-Bank, a leading German merchant bank, for 18 years. For most of the time his prime responsibility covered Corporate Finance and Equity and Bond trading. He was a Member of the Board of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange for 16 years and a member of the Supervisory Board of the German Financial Future Exchange (Deutsche Terminbörse) since its inception in 1991. In his capacity as a Managing Partner/Member of the Vorstand he represented BHF-Bank on various Supervisory Boards of both German and other European industrial companies. Following his retirement from BHF-BANK after 32 years of service, he was appointed Senior Advisor Germany by Bankers Trust. After its acquisition by Deutsche Bank AG, Dr. Graebner served until the end of 2001 as Member of the Executive Council of COMPASS PARTNERS International, a leading European private equity firm. He is now serving on a number of Advisory and Board positions. For several years, he has been advising the Vietnamese government on its stock exchange legislation.



Education:
Before becoming a banker, Wolfgang Graebner was an Assistant Professor at Cologne University, where he received his Ph.D. as well as his MBA. He is fluent in English and French and has a good command of the Italian language.
